Is There Space for More Than One Privacy Coin?

There are now at least ten serious privacy coins around, and over the course of 2017, they began to attract major attention. Does that mean investors will always have to choose between a bunch of these coins? Or, will one of these coins ultimately emerge as the winner, with the other fading into obscurity? It’s an important question because it affects the way investors should approach privacy coins. If only one coin will ultimately survive, investors need to back the coin with the strongest “brand value”. If there is space for more than one, investors can back those they deem best in terms of privacy attributes and network efficiency. But, if we reach a point where one or two coins attract all the new demand, there will be little reason to hold the others. For the sake of simplicity, we […]

London’s Bubble Escorts now Accepts Bitcoin Payments

Cryptocurrencies are making inroads in virtually every sector as of right now. Unsurprisingly the escort industry also sees the merit of this form of money. Bubble Escorts now accepts cryptocurrency in exchange for services offered by their escorts. It is a very positive development, although one that will undoubtedly get a lot of negative attention. Bubble Escorts proves to be a rather interesting company. Their rate to hire an escort is on the steep side of the spectrum. With a price tag of 120 GBP an hour, it is not exactly a cheap undertaking by any means. To make this offer even more appealing, the company now accepts Bitcoin payments as well. But with cryptocurrencies, it might get little complicated. Cryptocurrencies are stored on the blockchain. Just like banks have account name & number, cryptocurrencies have addresses to their wallets on the blockchain. Each wallet has a public address and a private address. Public address is where you can receive token/altcoin at, while the private address is the key to access your wallet or to send token/altcoin. To be precise, you never store a token/altcoin in your wallet. What you store is the public and private keys/addresses in your wallet.
